You won't sleep in your ergo or bed at the moment so you & I go for many walks in your pram. I watch as your little head falls to the side while you still hold tight to your little toys. We walk & you nap, every time I try to quietly get the pram inside your big bright eyes flash open & you grin.

As soon as you were born the midwives said you looked as if you'd been here before. Somedays when you're staring me down with those big doe eyes I feel like you know more than you're letting on.

First shack trip for 2014. 

You like to sit on the table & devour mangoes with as much enthusiasm as your dad (which is a lot).

I don't think I'll ever quite be able to capture on film just how much you make my heart melt. Lately you've decided going to sleep just isn't your thing, so I make myself content in watching the light dance across your face instead.

Good morning my tiny man. I'm terribly sorry to bother you when you're clearly unhappy, but I just need to snap a photo. It's the first of January 2014 & we're going to be taking one shot of you every day  this year. Today's photo is not overly spectacular because your mum is currently about to die from Mastitis. Hopefully she can learn to use her camera better over the next year. I love you x
